I am one of those people who just loves to decorate for the Christmas Holiday Season. Usually the day after Thanksgiving, I spend giving my house a thorough cleaning so that decorating can be done on the weekend.
We all have boxes and boxes of those treasured decorations that we put up every year, but there are ways to freshen up your display and make it look new each year.
Change the scenery around your light-up churches and nativity scene. Spruce up your candleholders and replace those old candles with new fresh ones. You can add to existing figurines, angels & Santa's to change them up a bit. If you have Tree ornaments that you have been using for years, just add a few "new" ones or change your garland color for change.
Try using a cozy throw blanket across the couch to add a touch of warmth.
Christmas time is a wonderful time to relive memories and build new ones. When I have my house looking warm and inviting for the Holiday's, it makes me remember all the years past, and puts me in the mood to add new memories every day.
